Liveblog Nations League: Italy vs. Belgium

The Azzurri saw their world record 37-match unbeaten run ended by Spain in the Nations League semi-final, with Leonardo Bonucci sent off before half-time in a 2-1 defeat.

Bonucci is therefore suspended, but Roberto Mancini makes sweeping changes to his line-up, shelving the False 9 in favour of Sassuolo pair Giacomo Raspadori and Domenico Berardi with on-form Federico Chiesa.

Francesco Acerbi comes in for Bonucci, with Lorenzo Pellegrini, Nicolò Barella and Manuel Locatelli almost totally revamping the midfield.

Davide Calabria would’ve started, if not for a slight muscular injury.

Belgium are also forced into changes, because Romelu Lukaku and Eden Hazard picked up muscular injuries during the 3-2 thriller defeat to France, which saw them fumble a 2-0 half-time lead.

Kevin De Bruyne is also rested, so Yannick Carrasco and Hans Vanaken support Michy Batshuayi upfront.

There’s room for Milan winger Alexis Saelemaekers and former Atalanta man Timothy Castagne.
