Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s agent has rubbished reports that Paris Saint-Germain could make a late move for the Lazio midfielder. “He’ll stay in Rome.”

A possible meeting between Milinkovic-Savic’s and PSG sporting director Antero Henrique had surfaced, just days before the French transfer window shut.

However, Mateja Kezman told Corriere dello Sport: “Milinkovic will stay in Rome and continue to play for Lazio. Lots of false rumours have spread throughout the summer.”

A possible meeting between Milinkovic-Savic’s and PSG sporting director Antero Henrique had surfaced, just days before the French transfer window shut.

However, Mateja Kezman told Corriere dello Sport: “Milinkovic will stay in Rome and continue to play for Lazio. Lots of false rumours have spread throughout the summer.”

Instead, the newspaper expects Lazio to offer the Serb – who had also been linked with Juventus, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Milan – an improved contract until 2023, which would double his salary to €3m.
