Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb at an FIGC event in Florence, Marotta did not rule out a departure, but assured there are no problems between the club and the striker.

“We have a great relationship with him [Tevez],” the director explained.

“There are no problems about his future. Now we have to focus on winning the Scudetto.”

Marotta did however admit that the financial reality of Italian football could one day see Paul Pogba leave the club.

“Pogba? We’ll do everything to keep him.

“The problem could be the salaries that might be offered to him, which might not be compatible with our League.

“However, at the moment we’re not thinking about selling him.”
