Bologna's Amadou Diawara appears to have vanished, to the point that his transfers to Roma and Napoli have been compromised.

The player refused to show up at the Rossoblu's training centre on July 10, in what was interpreted as an act of defiance to convince the club to sell him.

Roma and Napoli both showed interest in a signing, with the latter club at one point seemingly the closest to signing the Guinean.

But the Corriere dello Sport reports that both deals are now off the table, and this has very much to do with the fact that the player has gone AWOL.

Diawara is still not answering any calls, nor has he been seen by anyone. No-one has heard from him in 26 days now, although his agent Daniele Piraino has not reported any abnormality.
