Mario Balotelli has not suffered any repercussions after his return to action for Milan last night.

The Italy international came on in the second half during the Rossoneri’s 1-1 draw with Barcelona, as he continues to recover from injury.

And the club have confirmed this afternoon that the controversial forward has trained normally and should be available for the game with Parma on Sunday.

“The day after the 1-1 draw against Barcelona, the team are straight back to work at the Milanello sports centre,” a statement on their official website read.

“The players that started last night warmed down in the gym while the rest of the squad came out to the raised pitch behind the gym.

“After a stretching session and some sprint drills, the players started working with the ball. The team worked firstly on possession and then a three touch practice match.

“Balotelli and Saponara trained with the group for the entire session.”
