However, the Giallorossi have today confirmed that the former Torino defender hasn’t fractured his ankle.

“After being forced off through injury during Monday's 1-0 win over AC Milan, the medical staff issued the following update on Bruno Peres,” a statement on the Lupi’s official website reads.

“On Monday evening Bruno Peres underwent preliminary tests which excluded any fractures but revealed a sprain.

“As a result Peres will undergo further checks in the next 24-48 hours to determine the exact prognosis and the most suitable treatment options.”
