As a consequence, reports suggested that the Diavolo’s match at the Bentegodi would begin at 20.45 instead of 18.00.
However, Sampdoria have now corrected the error so Verona-Milan will still be the first game of the new season. Samp-Juve will follow on Saturday 24 August.
