Crotone Coach Davide Nicola wants to see “the same determination” they showed against Roma and Juventus replicated in smaller games.
On Wednesday they hosted the Serie A leaders and lost 2-0, falling by the same result today to Roma at the Stadio Scida.
“I can see that my team is putting in good performances,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“We had a couple of days to prepare for this game and in the Press conference I joked that we would park the bus. Clearly it’s more difficult against Roma or Juventus, but we need the same determination against the other teams too.
“This is Year Zero for Crotone, our first in Serie A and we’ve made a specific choice based on players who want to emerge and make their mark, respecting the budget.
“It was a good game today and certainly not boring. Both Juventus and Roma impressed us, though the Bianconeri are perhaps more precise in defence.
“I must say that we did better against Roma because their approach was closer to how we interpret football.”
