M’baye Niang’s agent quashes rumours his client could return to Genoa on loan, insisting he’ll stay at Milan.

The forward spent last season on loan with the Grifone, scoring four times in 19 Serie A appearances, and rumours emerged today that he could head back to Marassi.

“Could he go on loan to Genoa? No.” Moussa Ndiaye told CalcioNews24.

“There are a lot of rumours in the transfer window, but everyone knows he has renewed with Milan. The loan to Genoa was a success, but his present is Milan.

“After having an operation in May, M’Baye didn’t go on holiday, he did everything to be fit and ready for the start of pre-season.

“Everything is ok, he’s working as hard as the rest of the team, and wants to prove that Milan were right to have faith in him.

“Of course, he’s attracted the attention of several Italian, English and French clubs, which is flattering, but the situation is clear.”
