La Viola have won just one of their last seven matches in all competitions, while looking further back they have tasted victory only four times in their last 16 outings.

The Florence side are currently eleventh in the Serie A table, seven points shy of Milan and a possible Europa League qualifying place.

As a result, La Nazione reports that the Fiorentina Coach – as well as the playing squad and sporting director Pantaleo Corvino – is under pressure heading into the upcoming sequence of fixtures.

According to the Italian newspaper, the club’s Della Valle brother owners are unhappy with the lack of progress made this season and have told Pioli and his team that they are playing for their futures.

Pioli, formerly in charge of Inter and Lazio, is in his first campaign as Artemio Franchi boss.

He has repeatedly stressed the need for patience as he looks to build for the future, but it appears he will need positive results against Atalanta, Chievo, Udinese, Benevento, Torinoand Crotone if he is to see out his vision at the club.
