Sassuolo have announced that winger Matteo Politano has signed a new, five-year contract with the club.
Politano had been linked with Fiorentina earlier in the summer, but the winger is now set to stay at Sassuolo for the foreseeable future.
The 24-year-old joined the Neroverdi from Roma in 2015, initially on a loan basis, before completing a permanent move last summer.
His performances at the Mapei Stadium also earned him an Italy call-up last November.
