Genoa’s President claims “Juventus haven’t put Stefano Sturaro on the market” but that Cristian Ansaldi will “surely” return if he leaves Inter.

Speaking to Tuttosport on Tuesday, Enrico Preziosi also confirmed deals for Esteban Rolon and Petar Brlek were close but that Inter risked missing out on a reported €60m double swoop for teenagers Pietro Pellegri and Eddy Salcedo Mora.

“Rolon will definitely come this week,” began the patron.

“He’s a player we’ve been following for a few months. Certainly, he’ll become a part of Genoa.

“Blrek? I’ve watched him for two whole nights, he’s a player we’re very focused on and he’s a great champion for us. Certainly, he’ll be important for Genoa.

“Sturaro and Ansaldi? Sturaro’s arrival is very difficult because Juventus haven’t put him on the market.

“It’d be a privilege if it happened, also because of the good relations we have with the Bianconeri.

“Ansaldi’s in our sights and if Inter move him on, it’ll surely be to Genoa for various reasons.

“Pellegri and Salcedo? We had an agreement with Inter, which is currently on standby, so we’ll evaluate other offers, as long as they are satisfactory for us.

“Sale of the club? I’m only thinking about completing the squad and trying to build a team that can do well.”
