These include Empoli playmaker Valdifiori, who was so sorely missed due to suspension in last night’s 1-1 draw with Cagliari.
It would be the first senior Italy call-up for the 28-year-old, who is courted by Napoli and Milan for next season.
He’d be included in case Andrea Pirlo is not fully recovered from a muscular problem, though Paris Saint-Germain starlet Marco Verratti would likely start.
Other newcomers could well be Oriundi – South Americans who have an Italian passport – in the form of Palermo attacking midfielder Vazquez and Sampdoria striker Eder.
Conte had also asked Palermo's Paulo Dybala for his availability, but the 21-year-old is focused on Argentina.
Vazquez is a 26-year-old Argentine, while Eder is a 28-year-old Brazilian forward who has been in Italy since 2006.
It’s likely there still won’t be any room for Mario Balotelli, who is struggling to get off the bench at Liverpool.
Inter full-back Davide Santon is on the verge of a recall after his fine form at San Siro.
