Juventus have decided to move forward with Massimiliano Allegri despite their poor start to the season, something that vice-president Pavel Nedved was unconvinced about.

The Bianconeri currently sit 8th in the Serie A table after their poor start, picking up 10 points from two wins and four draws. The team have looked miserable on the pitch and fans are growing increasingly frustrated, mounting pressure on the Italian coach. Despite their struggles, which includes zero points from two Champions League group games, Allegri will not be dismissed yet.

As highlighted by Corriere della Sera, there was a meeting on Friday at the Juventus camp, where Andrea Agnelli, Federico Cherubini, Maurizio Arrivabene and Nedved all met to discuss the situation and their plan. During this meeting, Nedved mentioned the idea of dismissing Allegri, but this suggestion was rejected by Agnelli.

The Juventus president spoke to the coach on the phone yesterday, wanting reassurance that the team would stay united and continue working on moving forward as a unit, rather than allowing divisions to form in the dressing room.

The Old Lady are now in a delicate period and the coming months will prove key in Turin, so Allegri will need to work hard to turn things around fast.

  1. Agnelli is the one who needs to go. His poor decision-making and ego-centric personality have become obvious already. Bring in some real fooball manager talent and not someone’s hair.

  2. Lord Allegri called it. Hiroshima Max is destroying the club more then Calciopoli ever did. COMPLETE division and destruction.

  3. @Stefan, alright – alright, we know you and your master hate Allegri. Are you happy now? No need to keep on crying about it… Weird ppl.

  4. Hiroshima Max is not the main culprit. Blame the borderline illiterates above him. When you hire a brick layer from the Flinstone era, you are not going to get calcio champagne. More like calcio zombie.
