Napoli striker Victor Osimhen was presented with the Globe Soccer Award for Emerging Player of the Year 2022 today.
The Nigeria international was unable to attend the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony in Dubai on November 17, so a special event was organised at the Napoli training ground instead.
Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli was present to help hand over the award to the forward.
The 24-year-old has been on sensational form with leaders Napoli this season, contributing 11 goals and three assists in just 16 appearances between Serie A and the Champions League.
Osimhen was purchased from French side LOSC in the summer of 2020 for €75m plus bonuses, a record fee for the Partenopei on the transfer market.
His contract runs to June 2025 and there have already been reports of offers over €100m from the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal, but Napoli have no intention of selling their star man.
