Napoli and Bayern Munich have found the net with 14 different goalscorers across all competitions so far this season, more than any other club in Europe’s top five leagues.

The Partenopei have had a spectacular start to the season winning 10 games and drawing two. They are the current Serie A leaders with a two-point lead over Atalanta, the only two unbeaten clubs in Italy’s top flight.

They’ve won three games from three in the Champions League and can already qualify for the Round of 16 by winning their home match against Ajax tomorrow.

As La Gazzetta Dello Sport points out, Napoli have found the net through 14 different players this season, a record in Europe’s top 5 leagues, shared with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

Not even Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have managed as many, having found the net with 11 different players, the same as Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Milan. Monaco, Marseille and Arsenal have 12, Rennes and Koln 13.

There were fears that the Partenopei would have struggled to replace their injured star Victor Osimhen, but Spalletti has found a creative way of replacing the Nigeria international who is expected to return against Ajax tomorrow.
