Trevoh Chalobah has often been linked with a move to Serie A and now Napoli have set their sights on the Chelsea centre back.

The 24-year-old Englishman has regularly been floated as an idea for a number of Italian clubs in recent years, including Inter, Milan and now recently Roma. In the summer, he seemingly opened the door to a move to Serie A in the future.

Chalobah has not played a single minute for Chelsea this season, missing over four months of action due to a thigh injury. Despite a contract running to June 2028, he is not expected to be a part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans moving forward, making him a spare part in West London.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport via TMW, Napoli are interested in picking up Chalobah this month in order to bolster Walter Mazzarri’s defence. The club are concerned about their position in the league table and are working to strengthen the squad to try and turn things around.

Chalobah has made 63 total appearances for Chelsea since breaking into the first team in 2021, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
