Napoli are seriously interested in picking up Wolves winger Adama Traore and are reportedly in constant contact with his entourage.

The 26-year-old Spaniard joined the Premier League outfit in 2018 and immediately drew attention with his powerful runs, ball progression and strong physical presence. He has been a mainstay of the team ever since, scoring 13 goals and providing 18 assists in 168 games across all competitions, and a brief loan spell with Barcelona only further put Traore in the limelight.

As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Napoli have been in constant contact with Traore’s entourage and are keen on the idea of picking him up on a free transfer next summer, after his contract expires with Wolves.

The English club have tried to offer him a new contract and will try again, but it’s becoming clear that the player is keen for a breath of fresh air. He has multiple offers but is seriously considering the prospect of playing for Napoli.

For the Partenopei, the situation is tied to the futures of Matteo Politano and Hirving Lozano, and no move will be made before the summer.

  1. Dude is powerful, but can’t cross nor score to save his life… I sincerely think Napoli should be aiming for a higher calibre player.
