Talented youngster Samuel Iling-Junior has signed a new contract with Juventus, guaranteeing his near future in Turin.

The 19-year-old Englishman joined the Bianconeri from Chelsea in September 2020 in a deal worth around €140,000. He initially joined their Primavera squad before progressing to their second team, Juventus Next Gen, where his potential soon saw him earn a call-up to the first team by Massimiliano Allegri.

Iling-Junior made his debut for Juventus earlier this season and provided an assist in his second outing, a Champions League clash with Benfica. He contributed to another goal in the following game, immediately earning plaudits from fans and pundits alike.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Iling-Junior has now signed a new long-term contract with Juventus, tying him to the club until 2027. His previous contract expired in 2023, forcing the club to iron out a new deal.

A key factor in the negotiations was Iling-Junior’s desire for first team action, so with this renewal he’ll likely become a regular feature of Allegri’s squad in Turin.
