According to Sky Sport Italia, Maurizio Sarri is taking the unusual action to get their minds on the job at the Stadio San Paolo.

This doesn’t tend to be implemented ahead of a home game, but Sarri is taking extra precautions after picking up one point from the last two Serie A fixtures against Roma and Inter.

The Partenopei have fallen four points behind new leaders Juventus and that gap could stand at seven points if the Bianconeri beat SPAL this evening.

Among the reasons for the training retreat could be Sarri’s insistence that Napoli ignore the Juve match and not watch it on television.
