Napoli confirm Piotr Zielinski has bruising to his right thigh, but there do not appear to be any lesions.
When the midfielder pulled up during the 2-0 Serie A win over Venezia and had to hobble off, prompting concerns he might’ve suffered a thigh strain.
However, today’s statement from the medical staff confirms Zielinski has significant bruising to his right thigh.
The player has already begun his rehabilitation process and will be monitored daily.
Diego Demme and Faouzi Ghoulam are also out of action ahead of this weekend’s trip to Sampdoria.
