Reports in Italy claim Bournemouth are open to sending Hamed Junior Traorè to Napoli on a paid loan deal in January, but the two clubs are still negotiating over the midfielder’s transfer fee.

The former Sassuolo midfielder has emerged as one of Napoli’s targets to strengthen the team in the second part of the season as Walter Mazzarri’s side sit 9th in the table, 20 points below leaders Inter.

La Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Corriere dello Sport claim Bournemouth have agreed to send the 23-year-old out on a paid loan deal this month. However, the two clubs are still negotiating over the transfer fee for the ex-Sassuolo man.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the deal will also include an option to buy at the end of the season and Napoli are in a hurry to shake hands with the player and his club as other Serie A sides, including Roma and Milan, are interested in him.

Traorè has scored one goal in six games across all competitions this season.

According to Gazzetta, Napoli will drop Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic if Traorè moves to the Stadio Maradona this month.
