The Belgian was thought to be close to the English club in the summer, but ultimately he remained with the Giallorossi.
“I made a lifestyle choice, I’ve been in Italy for 12 years,” Nainggolan revealed, speaking to Sky.
“I feel respected here, and I didn’t want to leave all this. I’m happy where I live.”

The Lupi lost at Sampdoria on Sunday, a result which leaves Juventus four points clear with a game in hand.
“It’s a defeat which hurts us, but we can say we got away with it a little because Napoli are still behind.
“There’s regret though, because we went ahead twice and we couldn’t close out the game. We got it wrong in the game.
“Right now we’re very disappointed because we lost a bit of ground to Juve, but we believed and we continue to believe.
“We look forward to try and put as much distance as we can between ourselves and Napoli, although they’re doing very well.
“There’s a long way to go and it will be very difficult.
“We’ve changed some of our results from last year, because now there are some matches where we keep a clean sheet whereas last year we’d have drawn them. That gives us confidence going forward.
“Yesterday we could have taken three points but we didn’t, but we’re always confident and we hope it was just a misstep because there’s a long way to go and there’s always the chance to recover.
“Juventus-Inter? Inter are going strong and they have a great Coach [Stefano Pioli]. I knew they’d recover.
