Radja Nainggolan claims he was ‘dumped’ by Inter and clarifies that while he does not hate Juventus, ‘I’d always say no to them’.
Nainggolan left Inter after just one season, having been frozen out by Antonio Conte, and returned to Cagliari last summer.
“I came back because I was dumped. I went to China and knew I wouldn’t play in the friendlies,” he continued in his Instagram Live broadcast.

Nainggolan left Inter after just one season, having been frozen out by Antonio Conte, and returned to Cagliari last summer.
“I came back because I was dumped. I went to China and knew I wouldn’t play in the friendlies,” he continued in his Instagram Live broadcast.
“I thought they had changed their mind at Inter and so I left. The opposite happened of what I thought would happen and then I get a call from Giulini, who was already looking for me the year before.
“He told me he wanted to bring me back to Cagliari at the end of my career. When he heard about this opportunity, we talked and he convinced me to return.
“There were other offers and I also heard from Fiorentina and Sampdoria, but I wanted to find serenity again.”
The midfielder is known for his dislike of Juve, and he explained why he could never play for the Bianconeri.
“I don’t hate anyone, but they’ve always got on my nerves. I’ve never gone to Juve because winning a Scudetto playing five games a year wouldn’t sit right with me.
“I preferred to take a different path. You don’t have to choose the club that always wins.
“Winning 10 Scudetti in Turin is normal, winning one in Rome or elsewhere is better for me.
“I’d always say ‘no’ to Juve. People think I hate them and so their fans sing chants in my direction.”
Finally, the Belgian had a message for journalists who suggested he was a disruptive influence on teammates.
“Everything that’s been written, that I created problems in dressing rooms, isn’t true. I have my own character, but I’ve never created problems.”
