Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan “accepts” Miralem Pjanic’s decision to move to Juventus.

The Belgian international had previously stated that he would stop speaking to his teammate if he joined the Bianconeri, but appears to have softened his stance.

“I love him, I accept his choice and I’ll continue to love him,” Nainggolan told reporters after last night’s Italy game.

“He was like a brother, and it’d definitely be better to play together but he made another choice and we accept it, fine.

“These things happen in football.”

Having played in Italy for 13 seasons, the midfielder was also asked for his opinion on the Azzurri after their 2-0 win last night.

“I always said Italy would be the most difficult game. They’re masters of tactics and they pressed well.

“We tried to do something with our individuals, but we didn’t succeed.”
