Jose Mourinho has congratulated Francesco Guidolin on winning the Panchina d’Oro, but admits that he is still waiting for his same award to arrive.

Guidolin was today announced as the winner of the ‘Golden Bench’ award for being the best Coach in Serie A in the 2010-11 season. Succeeding Mourinho, who won it for his work at Inter in 2009-10, the Italian has received the Portuguese’s best wishes.

“Congratulations to Guidolin for the Panchina d’Oro,” the current Real Madrid man told Rai.

“It is well deserved. He’s doing an incredible job, sincere greetings.

“He’s been luckier than me. He has his Panchina d’Oro, I’m still waiting for mine from 2009-10 to arrive in Madrid…”

Mourinho won a treble of Serie A, Coppa Italia and Champions League titles with Inter to pick up the 2009-10 edition of the award.
