Botolo Mutti does not think that any extra media attention on Week 26 opponents Milan – or the referee – will affect his Palermo side’s preparations.

Attention is likely to be on the match officiating in the fall-out to the Rossoneri’s weekend 1-1 draw with Juventus, in which Sulley Muntari had a clear goal incorrectly disallowed.

Next in line for Massimiliano Allegri’s men is a trip to the Renzo Barbera to face Mutti’s side.

“I do not fear the controversy surrounding Milan,” offered Rosanero Coach Mutti on Monday.

“I do not fear the controversy surrounding Milan,” offered Rosanero Coach Mutti on Monday.

“Certainly they are attracting strong media interest by virtue of certain episodes that occurred against Juve.

“We should think only about building our game like we always do, with tranquillity.

“At home we have always done well, but at the same time, we know that we will face a team that has great motivation and a very strong technical structure to it.”

Palermo have equally spent the aftermath of the weekend protesting about the quality of match officiating after some contentious decisions went against them in a 4-1 defeat to Siena.
