José Mourinho reportedly met two assistants of his agent Jorge Mendes on Friday amid reports linking the Portuguese with PSG and Real Madrid.

Mendes’ collaborators Hugo Valdir and Luis Correia met Mourinho in Rome on Friday, according to Gazzetta and Il Corriere dello Sport.

It was a busy day for the Portuguese, who also led the Giallorossi’s training session and watched Novak Djokovic in the central court at the Internazionali d’Italia, meeting the Serbian star in person.

Mourinho has a contract at the Stadio Olimpico until June 2024 and according to Gazzetta, he hasn’t yet received concrete offers from other clubs. PSG and Real Madrid are reportedly interested, but the Portuguese tactician said last week that the Ligue 1 giants ‘had not called‘ him.

According to Gazzetta, Mourinho is still on good terms with Real Madrid President Florentino Perez and the same is true of his agent Jorge Mendes, but this doesn’t mean the Merengues will part ways with Carlo Ancelotti at the end of the season.

The pink paper claims Mourinho will remain at Roma if he doesn’t receive ‘intriguing’ offers although the 60-year-old expects more investments from the club to become credible Serie A title contenders in 2023-24.
