Jose Mourinho thanked Francesco Totti for his praise and admits it’s ‘a pity I arrived four years late’ to work with the legend at Roma.
Totti today called Mourinho “the best coach in the world” and welcomed him to the Stadio Olimpico.
The Portuguese tactician replied with a message via Instagram.
“Thank you for your words, Francesco, it’s a pity I arrived four years late… Coaching you would’ve been a pleasure. #OneCaptain ”
Totti retired in 2017, having spent his entire club career with the Giallorossi jersey.
