Thiago Motta insists “there’s no problem” at Paris Saint-Germain between Unai Emery and Marco Verratti.

Verratti was substituted in Le Classique against Marseille, and vented his frustration at the Coach, leading to speculation he’s unhappy under the Spaniard.

That has alerted Juventus and Milan, but his club and international teammate insists there are no issues.

“There’s no problem, egos are normal in football,” Motta assured in an interview with beIN Sports.

“There’s no problem, egos are normal in football,” Motta assured in an interview with beIN Sports.

“It happens at all the big clubs, Bayern, Barça… everywhere. We’re lucky to have a good group, and the Coach was completely right to speak about our frustration when we don’t win.

“When I get subbed, I’m not happy. It’s the same when I don’t play. It’s just normal, this won’t be the first or last time this happens.

“Marco’s reaction is nothing against Emery or anyone else, I’m sure it was just frustration about not winning the game.

“It’s a reaction which just happened and it’s nothing against the Coach, it was a reaction in the heat of the moment, borne of frustration.

“When you get subbed and we’re not winning you can’t be happy, so you can’t attach any importance to something like this.”
