Roma striker Tammy Abraham will be looking to score for the second Serie A game in a row today. He hasn’t found the net in two successive league matches for more than a year.

The Englishman joined Roma on a permanent €40m from Chelsea over the summer.

He has scored seven goals in 19 Serie A games this season, 13 in 26 appearances across all competitions.

The 24-year-old scored three goals in the last three Serie A games but hasn’t found the net in two games in a row for more than a year.

The last time he netted in two consecutive matches was against West Ham and Arsenal in December 2020, when he was playing for Chelsea.

Former Roma hitman Zibì Boniek has taunted the English striker in his latest interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Boniek said that Roma had ‘better strikers than Abraham’ in the past and said the former Chelsea striker lacks the ‘killer instinct.’

Abraham is expected to start for the Giallorossi today. Roma announced a new COVID case hours before the kick-off of the match against Juve.

  1. He is good; you can tell he has quality as a player. It’s his first year and he’s already at 8 goals in serie A, scoring in 3 consecutive matches, and has an overall of 15 goals for now. Give him time. He is good.
