Lazio star striker Ciro Immobile could become the third player to score at least 15 league goals in each one of the last six seasons after Mohamed Salah and Robert Lewandowski.

The Biancocelesti captain has scored 14 goals in 16 Serie A appearances ahead of tonight’s match against Inter at the Stadio Meazza. It kicks off at 19.45 UK time.

Should he find the net against the Nerazzurri, he would become the third player to score at least 15 goals in each one of the last six campaigns.

Only Mohamed Salah and Robert Lewandowski have managed as many league goals in the process.

The Liverpool winger has scored 16 goals in 20 Premier League games this season, while the Poland international has 20 goals in 18 Bundesliga games in 2021-22.

This term, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored eight goals in 16 Premier League games, while Leo Messi has only netted once in 11 Ligue 1 matches with PSG.

Immobile’s task will be pretty tough tonight as Inter, coached by his former boss Simone Inzaghi won the last six Serie A games in a row without conceding.

  1. Lewandowski has scored more goals in both the league and UCL, and in less games than Salah, yet the EPL pundits and media are trying to convince everybody that Salah is “currently the best in the world”. Give me a break.
