Miralem Pjanic believes Juventus can expect more of the same from Cristiano Ronaldo as the Bianconeri look to ‘win everything’ this season.
Juve paid an Italian-record €112m to bring in Ronaldo from Real Madrid earlier in the summer, and Pjanic feels the 33-year-old has what it takes to keep breaking scoring records and lift more Champions Leagues with the Old Lady.
“We are happy that he’s there,” continued the midfielder to ESPN.

“I give him just a welcome. He will in a couple of days start his preseason, and, of course, I think Juve did a big signing, and the team are happy, he’s happy, so I think he will do what he did also in the past, what he did at Man [United] and Real Madrid.
“He won a lot of titles. He did big and great things, and I think he will continue like that. He’s a great player, and I think he can help a lot his new club. I think he will give a lot to Juventus.
“We know the Champions League is very difficult. You have to play against clubs like Barcelona, who are very tough to play, Real Madrid, Bayern, Paris, so you have a lot of clubs who can win this Champions League.
“You have to be in form. You have to play well and deserve simply to be in the final. It’s not easy, but I think the team are good. Let’s see what happens. The team will, of course, try to win everything. But it’s never easy.”
