Inter chief Massimo Moratti has laughed away Lucio’s claims that Juventus have won 30 Scudetti. “It was an act…”
The Brazilian defender rescinded his contract with the Beneamata earlier this month before signing for arch-rivals Juve on a free transfer.
He then infuriated Nerazzurri fans by suggesting that Juve should not have been stripped of two Calciopoli titles – one of which ended up at San Siro.
“Those don't sound like serious statements to me,” Moratti told reporters outside of his Milan offices. “Come on now, that was part of an act.
“Now that he's with a new club it's clear that he's trying to make them happy – or has been told to make them happy – in this way.”
The oil baron was then quizzed on transfer matters, starting with Mattia Destro – a summer transfer target who Genoa suggest they will sell to Roma instead.
