Roberto Mancini ‘wants to win again with Inter’ and has unfinished business in Europe, says Massimo Moratti.

The former Inter President was interviewed ahead of this evening’s Coppa Italia clash with Juventus, a team he describes as ‘the strongest in the league.’

“Mancini is still the future of Inter,” he said to Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I think he wants to win again with Inter. Not that he hasn’t done it before, he has nothing to prove, but maybe he wants to continue on a path in Europe that was interrupted in the past.

“It’s not like I feel the Derby d’Italia less now that I’m now President any more. It’ll be a great match, above all because we’re in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia.

“Juve are the strongest team in the league, their organisation is their great strength, they’ve found consistency even when rotating and then they have an exceptional player in Dybala.

“I remember our 3-2 win in Turin in the Coppa Italia (on 30 January 2008). Let’s hope it ends like that.”
