Inter President Massimo Moratti admits “we have to see if it’s worth the bother” of signing Carlos Tevez from Manchester City.

The patron confirmed earlier today that a €25m offer had been sent to Eastlands, but there are reports that was turned down today.

“Tevez is an interesting player. We haven’t received any response from Manchester City yet,” Moratti told Sky Sport Italia.

“Now we have to see if it’s worth the bother of signing him, especially as other clubs are tracking the player. It wouldn’t be bad to win the ‘derby’ on the transfer market, though.”

Some have suggested Wesley Sneijder could be offered to City as part of the deal.

“Sneijder is not for sale. More youngsters will arrive, because that is the project.”

The Nerazzurri President also commented on last night’s 1-0 derby victory over rivals Milan.

“The day after it feels even better,” he grinned.
