The Spain Under-21 international signed for the Bianconeri from Real Madrid and, in recovering from an early injury set-back, has enjoyed increasing game-time under Max Allegri.

“Why did I join Juventus?” Morata has considered to Mundo Deportivo today.

“Because a player needs to feel the love of their Coach, the club and the people around him on a day to day basis.

“In the end at Juventus I have played in every game I have been available for and little by little I am being relied on more and to me that is what is important and what counts.

“My life in Turin is very quiet, I live down town. There are many shops and malls nearby, I go out for walks with the dog, but I do miss family and the girlfriend.

“Here people are very polite. They do not come up to you, nor ask for photos or grab you, they always talk to you first and ask how you are doing in the city, and then will ask for an autograph or a photo.”

Morata is also being quoted by the Spanish version of Goal.com commented again on the fallout from the weekend’s win over Roma.

“If they had won they would not have said anything. It was a very heated match, it is not easy to digest a defeat in such an important game, especially if it came in the last minute.

“Totti is a great player, historic, but he should not have said those things.

“My red card? I did not do anything, it was a really strange decision. I went in hard, but in a game like this you have to be tough.

“I also do not understand the reaction from Manolas, even if we were beating them. I am out on the sidelines now for having done nothing.

“Hopefully something can be done to undo the ban.”
