Alvaro Morata warned Real Madrid “is not suited to me if there’s no room,” but Arsenal reportedly make a €60m offer.

The striker spent the last two seasons at Juventus, but Real Madrid have a buy-back option worth €30m that can only be activated this summer.

There is little the Bianconeri – and the Spain international – can do other than wait.

“Real Madrid is not suited to me if there’s no room to play,” Morata told Onda Cero.

“I hope it can all be resolved as quickly as possible. I am tired of this constant talk of the buy-back option and depending on the decisions of other people. I just want to depend on myself.”

Morata also hit back at suggestions he called for a Real Madrid move.

“I merely said that any player in the world would like to play for Real Madrid, as it is the biggest club in the world. I never said it was my personal desire to go there.

“Everyone wants to play for Real, but if there is no room to play, then it is not the right place to go.”

Most reports suggest even if Real Madrid do activate the option, they will sell Morata on at a huge profit.

Mediaset Premium report this afternoon that Arsenal are ready to offer €60m for the striker, though the price-tag is €65m.

Nonetheless, Morata did aim a sideswipe at Max Allegri and Juventus after bagging a brace in Spain’s 6-1 win over South Korea.

“It is a pleasure to play for Spain. The style is different to what I’m used to. I get a lot more service and consequently have many more scoring opportunities.”
