Juventus striker Alvaro Morata says ‘everything is going smoothly’ for a contract renewal despite rumours of a Real Madrid return.
The striker has been linked with a return to the Merengues, as they inserted a buyback clause into the deal that originally took Morata to Turin.
However, the 23-year-old responded to those rumours earlier by saying ‘that topic has become calmer lately given that I haven’t been scoring’.

The Spain international has now left a fresh hint that his future is with the Italian champions.
“I’m discussing a contract renewal with Juventus, and everything is going smoothly,” he told Spanish outlet Cadena Ser today.
Morata has managed only one Serie A goal so far this season in ten appearances as the Bianconeri have stuttered with their Scudetto defence.
