Alvaro Morata admits Juventus “didn’t start well, but we’re getting back on track and so am I.”

The striker spoke to Spanish media while on international duty this week.

“I am feeling much better now and am happy to be back in the national team.

“Juventus didn’t start in the best possible way, but we are getting back on track now. We’ve got to start winning in Serie A again, the way we always have done.

“Slowly the team is improving and I am happy, especially as I got back to scoring too.”

Although Morata matched Alessandro Del Piero’s record for scoring in five consecutive Champions League games, the one against Bologna at the weekend was his first Serie A goal of the season.
