The Bianconeri face German champions Bayern Munich in the Champions League Last 16 first leg next week, and the striker expects a raucous atmosphere in Turin.

“I don’t know why my performances have been good against German teams,” Morata told Bild.

“It’ll be tough against Bayern, but it’ll be difficult for the German team in the first leg because they’ll find an inferno at our stadium.

“We’ve only conceded one goal in the last nine games at Juventus Stadium. We’ll play our game, we’ll run and play with high intensity.

“We’ll help each other and we’ll be careful not to make mistakes because [Pep] Guardiola’s side would exploit them straight away.

“[Robert] Lewandowski is the best striker in Europe for me, to see him play is a joy to behold.”

Morata joined the Old Lady from Real Madrid in 2014, but Los Merengues retain a buyback clause for the next two summers.

However, the Spanish international hints that he’ll choose to remain in Italy.

“In Madrid I didn’t have a clear head, there was no chance of finding space. I had a lot of offers, but Juventus came to my house and convinced me with a good offer.

“As for the future, two months ago I signed a new five-year contract with Juventus, a one-year extension to the last one.

“I feel great satisfaction and I’m motivated to do well in future. Leaving Real was my choice, because I was never given a chance.

“The best League? In Italy you play tactically a lot, all the teams are very well organised. In Spain the football is faster.

“In the Bundesliga and the Premier League it’s less tactical but the football is good, I like all those Leagues.”
