Alvaro Morata says it’s “an honour” to play with Gigi Buffon, and urges Paul Pogba to stay at Juventus.
The Spanish striker gave a long interview to Germany’s Bild, and discussed two of his most famous teammates.
“Buffon? It’s an honour to play with him,” Morata explained.
“He’s a great, intelligent person. A legend. Gigi will fire you up, he’s personable and he always makes himself available to help the young guys.

“Pogba? I know he has offers, he’s a friend, an improving player and a great talent. Juve need him.”
Next week’s Champions League Last 16 first leg against Bayern Munich will see a reunion with former teammates Arturo Vidal and Kingsley Coman.
“I can only say positive things about Arturo. We often sat together on the bus. I respect his choice to go to Bayern but I don’t know the reasons.
“Coman? He’s one of the most promising young players I’ve ever seen, in the Bundesliga he gets more space, he can use his speed and technique against his opponent.
“With Juve, playing in midfield, he had more tactical constraints.”
