It’s reported that Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani will officially complete a takeover of Monza on Friday.
The former Milan owner and his right-hand man are close to agreeing a deal to buy the Serie C club, less than two years after leaving the Rossoneri.
Berlusconi lives in nearby Arcore while Galliani was born in Monza, so there is a sentimental connection for the pair.
According to Tuttomercatoweb the closing will take place on Friday, with current President Nicola Colombo selling 95 per cent of his shares.
