Milan playmaker Riccardo Montolivo says he is ready to ‘contribute’, after an injury hit campaign last season.
The Italian international was sidelined with a broken leg before the 2014 World Cup, meaning he missed the start of the Rossoneri’s season.
After recovering from the injury, the 30-year-old suffered a number of muscular problems, before ending his season early to have pins removed from his leg.

“Missing out on a World Cup is never easy but finally I feel good,” Montolivo said in a Press conference, having made just nine Serie A starts last term.
“Last season I had a lot of problems tied to the operation. This time I have done pre-season with the team, which I hadn't done last season, and hopefully I can contribute."
