Robin Olsen is only fit for the bench due to a calf problem, so 35-year-old Mirante goes in goal.

He was signed from Bologna over the summer for €4m.

Mirante already made his Champions League debut during the 2-1 defeat to Viktoria Plzen on December 12. He has played three games for Roma, also losing 1-0 to Udinese on November 24 and beating Chievo 3-0 on February 8.

The veteran thought he was going to retire when pre-season tests showed up heart irregularities in August 2016. He was rested until November that year, had more tests and the issue had resolved itself.

Mirante is from Castellammare di Stabia, also known as the hometown of Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
