According to Il Messaggero newspaper, Juventus and Real Madrid are Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s favourite destinations for the summer, but the La Liga giants have not shown interest in the Serbia international.

The 27-year-old has been the best midfielder in Serie A this season, having contributed to 17 goals in 31 appearances (nine goals and eight assists). Massimiliano Allegri is looking for a midfielder who can score consistently and the Serbia international seems to be the ideal candidate for the Old Lady.

His agent Mateja Kezman, a former Chelsea striker, has informed Lazio that his client will be looking for a different club in the summer, despite a contract expiring in June 2024.

Milinkovic-Savic’s favourite destinations are Juventus and Real Madrid, but the Merengues have not shown interest in him, so the 27-year-old would be happy to move to Turin, where he’d reunite with his friend and compatriot Dusan Vlahovic. The Old Lady directors have already begun preliminary talks with the player’s agent and Lazio.

It remains to be seen if Juventus will afford his signing, given that Lazio’s asking price is €80m. The Old Lady may include some of their players in the deal to lower the Biancocelesti’s demands. Il Messagger mentions Nicolò Rovella, Luca Pellegrini and Daniele Rugani as possible options for Maurizio Sarri’s side.

  1. Is he worth it?
I suppose there’s a reason why Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Münich, PSG & various English top teams
    Are not interested in him…

I suppose he’s an ok midfielder but is he really a top club midfielder?
