La Repubblica maintains Milan contacted Bologna with a proposal, but were told the €10m price-tag must be paid before July 15 to give them time to find a suitable replacement.

If the Rossoneri were to take Diamanti, it’s likely they would sell Robinho or Kevin-Prince Boateng to raise the funds.
