Alberto Aquilani is being tipped to this weekend start his first Serie A game for Milan since the draw with Bologna in December.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the summer signing from Juventus, via Liverpool, could be named in the starting XI against Parma.

Aquilani, now back to full fitness after recent injury, is apparently set to play instead of Sulley Muntari at the Stadio Tardini.

The midfielder returned to top-flight action last weekend in the 2-0 win over Lecce when he was used as a second half substitute.

The 27-year-old is edging closer to a permanent move to the Rossoneri given that Milan will be forced to sign him outright from Liverpool once he makes 25 appearances this term.

Aquilani, a former Roma player, has played in 22 games for the Diavolo across all competitions.
