Francesco Camarda has been called up for Milan‘s Serie A game against Fiorentina and could become the youngest Serie A debutant on Saturday.

Milan coach Stefano Pioli is short of options in attack with Rafael Leao and Noah Okafor injured and Olivier Giroud suspended.

Therefore, Primavera striker Camarda has been temporarily promoted to the senior team for tomorrow’s Serie A game against Fiorentina at San Siro.

The Rossoneri have received the green light from the Lombardy Regional Committee who had to give authorization given Camarda’s age.

The promising striker, scorer of seven goals in 13 appearances with Milan’s Primavera team (U19) this season, will become Serie A’s youngest debutant if he’s involved against Fiorentina.

Camarda will be 15 years 8 months and 15 days old when Milan meet Fiorentina tomorrow, so he would beat the current youngest debutant, Wisdom Amey who made his first appearance in Italy’s top flight under Sinisa Mihajlovic at Bologna in 2021, aged 15 years, 9 months and one day.
