The Lombardy Regional Committee have given Milan the necessary clearance to call up 15-year-old Francesco Camarda for their coming Serie A game against Fiorentina.

Rossoneri coach Stefano Pioli has a lack of options up front following Olivier Giroud’s suspension and Noah Okafor’s recent injury, forcing him to look for solutions internally. Milan currently sit eight points behind league leaders Inter and cannot afford to lose any more ground on their intercity rivals.

Camarda has emerged as an exciting talent at Milan this season, joining their Under-19 Primavera squad at just 15. He’s hit the ground running in the older age group, scoring seven goals and providing two assists across 13 matches.

As officially announced today, the Lombardy Regional Committee have given Milan authorisation to include Camarda in their matchday squad for the coming Serie A clash with Fiorentina. Due to his age, the club were required to obtain permission from the local footballing authorities.

  1. Given the composition of the Toronto team, Bernadeschi has been a wasted talent. But he also has the responsibility for helping create the mess in Toronto. It would be if mutual benefit if he were to leave.
It will take several years to bring respectability back in Toronto, even with a new determined and focused manager.
